A home bar with soul. Where wooden beams meet good company, cold beers meet warm conversations, and every Friday night feels like coming home.
Voted by the residents (the four-legged ones had the deciding vote)
Tiaan rolled in from his farm in the Eastern Cape and immediately took over the kitchen — and honestly, nobody's complaining. An amazing cook who makes the household rotation look amateur, he's raised the culinary bar at Pluto's to heights we didn't know existed. He also supplies us with farm-fresh firewood — keeping the braai burning and the bar warm. The dogs voted unanimously — because when Tiaan cooks, everyone eats well.
Pluto's Family Bar started the way all great bars do — with a dog, a dream, and a room upstairs that needed a purpose.
Named after Pluto, the Australian Shepherd who runs the house (and everyone in it), Pluto's has become the gathering place for friends, family, and anyone lucky enough to get an invite.
Wooden beams, thatched roof vibes, a pool table that's seen better days (and better players), and a sound system that knows what deep house is. This isn't a commercial bar — it's better than that.
Not your average bar. Not even close.
Legendary table with a storied history. Bring your A-game — the regulars don't go easy on newcomers.
Deep house, good vibes, and a sound system that hits different when the sun goes down and the beers are cold.
Wooden beams, warm lighting, thatched roof character. It feels like a treehouse for adults. Because it basically is.
Three resident dogs who think they're bouncers. Mika, Pluto, and Basil welcome all well-behaved humans.
Weekend braais are an institution. Bring meat, bring stories, bring your appetite. The fire is always ready.
Pluto's isn't open to the public — it's open to friends. And friends of friends. And that one guy Gary who's always skeptical.
Photos coming soon — for now, use your imagination.
The four-legged security team and one digital barman.
An unbroken reign. All hail.
In a house of three humans, three dogs, a cat, and an AI who can't even hold a sponge — the dishwasher carries the team every single day. No sick days. No complaints. No passive-aggressive notes about whose turn it was. Just clean plates, every time. The dishwasher doesn't win Appliance of the Month. Appliance of the Month is named after the dishwasher.
